Data Types

Data types are reusable structures shared across BIND resources. They represent common concepts like monetary values, coded references, addresses, and time periods.

Address	A physical or mailing address.
AssetValuation	A financial valuation of a risk or location asset.
Attachment	An attachment or document reference.
BundleEntry	An entry in a Bundle, containing a resource and/or transaction metadata.
BundleEntryRequest	Request metadata for an entry in a transaction or batch bundle.
BundleEntryResponse	Response metadata for an entry in a transaction-response or batch-response bundle.
BundleEntrySearch	Search result metadata for an entry in a searchset bundle.
BundleLink	A navigation or context link associated with a bundle.
CarrierAppointment	An appointment between a broker/MGA and a carrier.
Claimant	A party making a claim or involved in a claim.
ClaimFinancials	Financial summary of a claim, including reserves and payments.
ClaimPayment	An individual payment made on a claim.
Classification	A classification or class code within a coverage.
CodeableConcept	A concept with a coding and optional text.
Coding	A coded value from a defined code system.
Commission	A commission arrangement for a policy.
CommissionSplit	A commission split between multiple parties.
CommissionTier	A tier in a sliding-scale commission arrangement.
ContactPoint	Contact information for a person or organization.
CoverageExtension	An additional coverage feature, extension, or sublimit.
CoverageLimit	A specific limit of insurance within a coverage.
DateTimePeriod	A time period defined by start and/or end date-time values.
Deductible	A structured deductible definition for a coverage section.
DrivingViolation	A driving violation or incident on a driver's record.
Endorsement	An endorsement (amendment) to an insurance policy.
EndorsementChange	An atomic change within an endorsement, scoped to a single coverage.
FinancialRating	A financial strength rating from a recognized rating agency.
GeoPoint	A geographic point in WGS84 coordinates.
GeoRegion	A geographic region defined as a GeoJSON-compatible polygon.
HumanName	A human name with structured components.
Identifier	A business identifier for an entity (e.g., NAIC code, EIN, NPN, policy number).
InsuranceSpecialty	A specialty or line-of-business classification.
License	An insurance license held by a person.
Lienholder	A party with a financial interest in an insured asset.
Meta	Metadata about a resource instance.
Money	A monetary amount with currency.
MoneyWithConversion	A monetary amount with currency conversion details.
MultiCurrencyMoney	A monetary amount with optional equivalent representations in other currencies.
NamedDriver	A named driver on a personal auto policy.
Period	A time period defined by a start and/or end date.
Premium	Comprehensive premium structure for a coverage section.
PremiumAdjustment	A premium adjustment or modification factor.
PremiumAllocation	Premium allocation to a specific location or classification.
PremiumBasis	The rating basis used to calculate premium.
PremiumInstallment	A premium payment installment.
PremiumLineItem	A premium line item breaking down the cost by coverage line.
Quantity	A quantity with a value and unit.
Reference	A reference from one BIND resource to another.
Resource	Base resource interface for all BIND resources.
RiskCharacteristic	A structured characteristic of a risk item.
ScheduledItem	A scheduled personal property item.
SplitLimitComponent	A component of a split limit structure.
Subjectivity	A condition that must be satisfied before a quote can be bound.
